Tried for a long time to stay away from saying this . . . .
"Fat Cats Get Fatter". Reason for saying that . . . . The head coach hired an offensive coordinator, did so on "name". That game has been going on for more years that most of us can count.
Schottenheimer's Dad was successful to a point. I can speak opening about Marty because I watched all of his stops.
Marty Schottenheimer said and it is in the video . . . . "Tell me what I am doing wrong".
Comes down to this for me. I don't want to be involved with a "love fest". Had enough of that to last me forever. This is the way the head coach operates . . . . on heart strings. What the head coach does not understand is this . . . . wins and losses. Wins against teams that play a high caliber of D1 football.
Correct that. The head coach does not have the where with all within himself to make changes that are instrumental in "team building".
This is not a time for "bleeding hearts". Bet this, it will be played on by those in charge of the "VAULT".
One small example . . . . If Nick Saban said to his "Mahogany Row" that he wants his numbers moved up from 7 million to 10 million . . . . done overnight. Why? Because Nick Saban understands "Team Building" or "Building a Team". 2015 Alabama was supposed to be "beatable" . . . . pass that along to the head coach in Athens that was a 2 or 3 point favorite in 2015.
Time for the bleeding hearts to move along, some of us understand what has and is happening in the Classic City. Bobby Bowden lost his job in Tallahassee for the same reasons that we see, have seen occurring in Athens.
Need to keep our ears close to the "situation" in Athens. Why? See what is said or not said by McGarity. Believe it or not, the "mess" is not below the head coach, it is occurring way the hell above his head. They will protect the head coach unless there is total revolt.
Time has come, no next years, in the pay line.
Nick Saban did not ask Jim McElwain to remain in Tuscaloosa. Nick Saban asked Kirby Smart to stand by his side. Nick Saban understands "Team Building".

EDIT: If you watch the video, check the offensive numbers. Marty could coach defense, not offense. Fruit does not fall far from the tree. Brian apparently has a problem with defenses, both in the NFL and now in the Classic City.
Not cutting any slack my friends. Took an awful beating in South Florida, never again.
