Wartdawg, if we go back and look at the fan base, it will show that Dawgs.com was the starting point of the current conversation. Meaning, those from Richt upward.

Public Relations Group were very good at shifting "piles", got away with it for x number of years.

When the conversation started "here" there was some interest, although not through the roof interest, as witnessed by the posts and views.

A small handful here were in agreement with the topics like IMG, M&M and the media.

Have to say this . . . . gives me a great deal of pleasure when I watch and read what is being said "now". There has been a huge turn in those that have basically been "blinded by the light" . . . . You were and still are one that participated in those threads.

This is not "knocking" anyone, some chose to ride it out, go the extra mile, have done that myself on occasion.

Comes a time when this has to be said. Like right now. Think it is great that many of the parents want their football playing sons to be on campus with a guarantee that they will be looked after. Meaning guided in a positive direction. Public Relations Group, and the media have used that "tool" to dig a very deep hole for our program. That is how they get paid. Not only does the head coach reap the rewards of money, he gets the pats on the back for being a good guy.

OK, like it or not, many times good guys finish last.

Stop right there, but "I shall return".

DWS, think the State of Ohio is voting on legalization today or soon.

Richt will have to be shoved out the door.
He is now talking about it's time to be men or some crap.

Hey pal, man up and do us a favor and resign.
Hire Kirby.

averagedawg, another step the head coach is taking . . . . same way Bobby Bowden did prior to being "retired" from FSU.

Bowden was shoved out of the "arena". Could not believe that was happening, wife and family were dismayed.

Not a doubt in my mind that there are "conversations" between the head coach and Bowden.

Like many divorces, one side really wants out, the other believes that all can be changed and corrected. In the Georgia case, the marriage has been through all of the ups and downs, and apparently the "downs" now far outweigh the "ups".

Goes back to that subject that has been mentioned on this board more than once . . . . Who would not fight to keep 4 million dollars a year. That is the Georgia yearly payout. The financial side that comes from the outside that is not public business (fans) is there as long as the head coach remains the head coach.

Fact is the head coach has proven he cannot coach on the same level as others, many others . . . . so ride the gravy train as long as he can. Bowden did.

What upsets me the most is why we didn't see this with FB after his performance?

I'm sorry, I just had to...

Remember this . . . .

Head coach could not find it in his heart or to perform one of his duties to release friend and assistant coach Willie Martinez. I do.

Guarantee that the head coach is now in the same position with Brian Schottenheimer.

Richt does not belong in a position of "hiring and firing", same could be said about Bobby Bowden in his latter years.

Continue to watch coaching assistants come and go under Nick Saban, does not seem to have a negative effect on Alabama. Wonder why that is?

Like many CEO's, they reach that level and they forget what it was that got them there. Only thing left to do is ride it out until someone higher up with a solid set of brassies does "their job". Goes further up than McGarity, not a doubt.

FYI: Ohio vote on weed will set up 10 selected (politically connected) growers. A monopoly. Weeders are likely to vote it down. Bad precedent.

Dawgs? PR machine doing reruns.
Still waiting on some real news out of the Row.

I will listen to the game Saturday and be pulling for my beloved Dawgs.

Go Dawgs!!!

For winning the Natty give every Dawg a bone AND prime rib steak.
