I certainly know it isn't the exact same as fielding a punt, my point was that he's use to following a ball with alot of air under it, that may need eye or foot adjustments etc in order to catch the ball. He does that exceptionally well when catching punts.....

Again, I love RD and totally glad he's a Dawg and a DGD at that.

You only get so many chances in big ballgames so IMO you have to make that catch. He can make that usually in his sleep.

Dropped balls, "tipped balls" and many other misc. mistakes can cost you championships and in the SEC you can't afford many.

Have this feeling with the talk about Quayvon Hicks getting playing time (blocking ?) Schottenheimer plans to throw the deep pass to Reggie Davis again.

Thanks Buc, glad to be back. Totally understand where your thoughts on RD was coming from.....from a point of lifting RD up, showing contimued confidence in him and well, simply caring for the young man's feels. Couldn't agree more!!
