My observations:
It seems unfair to have Chubb/Marshall/Michel in the same backfield. All of them showed up and I was left with the idea that, if they all stay healthy, some records are going to be broken this year.
Mitchell and Blazevitch looked great.
Lambert looked solid, but something about Brice Ramsey made me think that we will be okay at the QB position. Still, Lambert seemed mostly solid in his decision making, and it's obvious he can play the position. Would have like to see Bauta get some reps, too.
I thought that the D played well for the most part, except for the perennial softness of our secondary. I wish those kids would just tackle instead of looking for highlight reel material. I think this is the area that will cause us pain if the mindset doesn't change.
Special teams looked pretty solid.
Let's face it, ULM was never a real threat. We could have easily scored 70 in a full game, so it's difficult to truly gauge the Dawgs at this point. Next week will be slightly better in the context of better opposition, but Vandy appears to be the Vandy of old and I expect a wide margin of victory. As it stands, however, it is clear that this is a stacked Georgia team. If it stays healthy, it is going to be a monster.
