Hope he comes back to UGA but it looks like Van Jefferson will be going to Oklahoma.

Oldawg, Tracy Rocker is really doing a great job for Georgia. Was not hard to figure out that Rocker was going to be a big time plus for us. Another coach that I hope remains here for a long time.

Schedule in 2015 is going to pose some problems, that is what Pruitt/Rocker and Company thrive on. The gators got us in 2014, if I were a betting person, don't believe that will happen again in JAX.

You and others have probably read what Trenton Thompson has had to say about Rocker, if not, he was on the Fox Recruiting Program, talked about Tracy Rocker in "fatherly terms". Does my heart good, that has been missing between the Hedges. Never heard the players refer to Rocker's predecessor like that. Do remember Erk's young men using words like that. Spirited coaches coaching these young men and getting comments like Trenton made and he has not been on the practice field one day as yet. Meaning of course, with the pads on, wearing the Red and Black and looking for someone to "hit".

Go Dawgs, Coach'em Up! SEC schools have heard all of the "noise" that has been thrown our way since the National Championship. Love defense. :)

Very good athletes listed above. Some board members probably already have this list, never hurts to post one here. Might be some changes or dropouts that myself and others are not aware of, if you know of someone, post changes you are aware of if you like. Maybe you have some information on those below that you have either read about elsewhere or know of personally. Getting close to LOI day.

There are some question marks about the list posted above. Hard to keep everyone. Young men want to play right away. Understandable.

Also we have recently added this young man to the Red and Black.

Hoping we can get this young man to Athens. Not only strong on offense, watch him on defense.

Edit: Looking at the Nick Buchanan film again, great body control. Nick also played Lacrosse in high school, speaks well for his footwork. We have a right guard that has been terrific on the offensive line, also played Lacrosse in high school . . . . Greg Pyke #73. Turned out well, also a 6'6" guard that will play on Sundays.

Edit #2: Going out on a limb, some might say. Nick Buchanan is the best offensive high school lineman I have watched on film that played high school ball in Georgia. Proper coaching and S&C, Nick will play on Sundays also. Keep going back to the film, super talent.

Edit #3: Found the following quote from Nick Buchanan interesting to say the least.

“I did not talk to Cal today but I got a call from UGA. They are going to come to my house around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. It’s (offensive line coach Rob) Sale and (offensive coordinator Brian) Schottenheimer coming. Before I left UGA on Sunday, Coach Richt had told me that they were bringing in another offensive lineman for a midweek visit this week. Coach Richt wanted me to be aware of the situation because if the midweek guy committed, then there wouldn’t be a spot for me.

Watching film of Chris Williamson, one heck of a possession receiver. Catches the ball equally well when lined up on the left or right side, or out of the backfield. That can be tough for some receivers. Also has the body and temperament to block, that for sure is a plus.

Lifted the italic paragraph from the AJC. This statement was made a week ago.

“My dad and I talked to Coach Richt yesterday, and it went really well,” Williamson said. “He let me know that he would love to get me on campus. I know (UGA commit) Darius Slayton really well, and (Richt) talked to me about being roommates at Georgia with Darius.

One little problem has popped up . . . . Darius Slayton is wavering. Hope Darius sticks with us, going to be a very good SEC receiver, maybe one of the best when he enters the SEC. Here is hoping that our coaches know something that we don't about Darius Slayton.

Darius Slayton could be a real test for Schottenheimer. This is where Mike Bobo was very good.

Lot of folks in Florida seem to think that Chris Williamson is a strong possibility to sign with the gators. Hope not.

Looking over some hotly contested players, probably the player that is being pursued the hardest by several schools, Terry Godwin.

Looking at Auburn. They don't have a SEC ready quarterback. Same can be said for Alabama. Same can be said for Georgia. Do know that the Auburn and Georgia quarterbacks have "arms".

Alabama wants Godwin to replace their receiving star that will probably be chosen in the top 10 in the NFL draft, Amari Cooper. Godwin actually has more speed than Cooper. Great hands, will block downfield. Football player.

Georgia needs a speed receiver, sorry not sold on Justin Scott-Wesley.

Malcolm Mitchell, if he can return to full health, he is as good as any receiver.

One other receiver that "I" believe is going to be "very special", Shakenneth Williams. Shakenneth is a "football player. Reminds me of Chris Conley/Michael Bennett, that ain't a bad thingy, in my book. Speed is one thing, getting open is another.

Appears to me that Schottenheimer has a lot of work to do with his "starting quarterback".

With that being said . . . . another video.

Hope Godwin sticks with us. We lose 2 kids today who had been committed for awhile. It would be nice to flip a few that were committed to other schools 24 hours ago. CMR weems to fizzle in the last weeks of recruiting. had been 2-3 for months. We may now drop to 10 or so.

We need the fire by the head guy who will keep the best here. No excuses to EVER havd only 1 of the top 10 OLmen in state commit.
