Shannon, too much hit the internet from the media for there not to be some problems in Athens.

Administration got the "cruncher" they wanted.

Athletics saw this, started before the current uprising. grantham hit the nail on the head. Say again, remember his words after taking the job at Louisville.

Paraphrasing, can dig out the video.

Glad to be with a university that has an Athletic Director that understands and gets things done. That was for openers in his first press conference at Louisville.

There are many outside the arena (sadlerdawg used the term first) that are close enough to UGA football that know there was and remains a problem. McGarity. In a position that he does not belong to be in. For as many years as I can recall, it is called the "good old boy system". Certainly applies to McGarity's hiring. Florida sure as heck did not try to keep him. Believe that.

Anyone that believes McGarity made the decisions that have been made since the Belk Bowl, do not see the real picture as to what is happening in Athens.

Remember McGarity saying prior to the Belk Bowl that certain things would be discussed after the game? Remember the talk from McGarity about 10 wins? Like it or not, he was putting the pressure on Richt, playing the media game. Media game backfired, those above the athletic director recognized the seriousness of the McGarity "speak".

Rather amazing how "quickly" use that word again "quickly" McGarity moved Pruitt to 1.3 million from a base of 850,000 dollars.

Don't try and use the word "I" here but . . . . I am the person that started the questioning about Bryan McClendon's value to the Red and Black. That one I am watching closely. Anyone that thinks Tracy Rocker will stand by and watch the lack of effort being shown by McGarity, well remain here, watch.

Organization skills are not one of McGarity's traits. He is a part of the Group that watches the vault. IMG and ESPN have been close for many years. UGA Football belongs to the money crowd and is being exposed. More to come.

Just remember,....McScrooge also has a boss and it's less likely that true and complete "intel" will be leaked from Mahogany Row, then from places of lower pay grades! As with most rumors, there is ALWAYS an element of truth...Things could become very interesting in the Classic City!!!

Here is a little something to mull over.

All or most Dawg fans know that McGarity sent emails to those with deep pockets. McGarity likes money. Yes it takes money to run the system.

Anyone that reads this think that some that have deep pockets, attended the University of Georgia, became successful in the business world maybe get some things their way on the football team and other team sports.

Speaking to football scholarships. I know of one player that is on the UGA Football Team because his Dad has been very successful and therefore a slot for his son became available. This is not idle talk, it is a fact. It is never mentioned, but when you have 85 or so players on a team, if a "sizeable contribution" is made, has been made and will continue to be made . . . . they not only get emails, they also are listened to on scholarship offers. Realizing that the player will not see the field, or will for a play or two only, happens, and is happening as I type this.

Reason for saying the above, there is much that needs to be said about the way college football is being mishandled. All the way from the NCAA down. Called deal making, and the deals are going on and it still comes down to one thing primarily . . . . the vault. If you believe that our head coach is not aware, you have bought into the "Group" way of doing things.

It's frustrating that not everyone is on the same page. This page should have one compund word on it: National Campionship.

No intro, summary, closing, epilogue.

National Championship.

Mcgarity is a coward and a money weasel.
