Wartdawg your post #59 caught my attention.

Have tried to stay away from too much talk about Faton Bauta. When I go back two years and read what some of the players on the team were saying at that point about Bauta, just reinforces many of the things that I did say before.

Coaches were all over Hutson Mason about "letting it rip". Now we have Ramsey who will be the starter it appears in 2015 that "lets it rip" but does not as you say, know where to place the ball. Been on campus around some talented players, somewhat surprised with his lack of understanding. Anyone remember when Bauta was placed in front of Ramsey? Remember the reason? Reason was Ramsey was having a difficult time with the playbook.

At this point, I am inclined to believe that as sflanagan21 has said, Park could be a "sleeper". Meaning Jacob Park, will come out of nowhere and "be all that". Would not be the first time that has happened.

Simply said, we will never know about Faton Bauta, other than the fact that he was recruited by those that like "pretty spirals". I said that.

Edit . . . . Looking around, and when I read this kind of "stuff" just reinforces my thoughts on the lack of coaching ability we have. We have plain and simply "athletes" every year that could do so much more. Maybe even make the "Final Four".

Faton Bauta, a redshirt sophomore, has been around the program awhile too and offers a running dimension. Richt has said they're going to keep Georgia's pro-style offense, but a new coach could always favor Bauta's mobility more.

Really, really . . . . A new offensive coordinator could always favor Bauta's mobility more? Richt will hire someone that will allow that? Public Relations at work, big time. Hold on to those seats in Butts-Mehre, cubbies.

next year was already written off after the loss to Tech. The cmr apologists stated we are NOW 2 years away.

As for Hutson "intentional grounding" Mason he did a pretty good job of managing the offense...just what he was supposed to do...but if Ramsey was given even half a chance at the starting job he may not be forcing the ball into coverage like he has been apt to do when he has seen the playing field. Either way you look at it you are going to have a QB next year that has little field experience and the QB "teacher" has moved on to CSU...with the schedule we have next year the QB situation will cost us...

Game over season over.

Often I have a few things to say about offensive lines. Not sure how many really understand just how important that is. Why do I say that? If anyone looks at headlines or board comments, on all boards, never fails almost the entire "chatter" is either about a quarterback or a running back.

While I don't agree with all of the things that Petrino has said and done over the years, one thing for sure, he understands football. Below is a video with Petrino speaking after the game, might want to hear what he has to say about our offensive line.

So, who did we lose from the coaching ranks? The one coach that finally put all of the parts together, now he is in Colorado. Say again, thanks Coach Will Friend.

By chance, did anyone notice what #47 Taylor Maxey contributed to the cause last night? 5'10" 226 pound fullback. High fives to you Taylor, you played like an offensive lineman. Some recognize what it takes for running backs to get running room.

In the video below, there is room for conversation and listening closely to what the head coach has to say at certain spots.

Right around the 5:50 minute mark on the video, interesting the comment made on recruiting and "facilities".

Some say that they don't pay attention to the "noise" that you and I put out to be read, but words can be traced to speaking the truth. Yes head coach and others know what is being said, and no they don't get it second hand. If that is the case, might want to get their collective heads out of the sand.

Good public relations firms spend time with those that are going to speak to the press. No different than politicians and their "warm up" prior to going before the bright lights. That is how it works my friends.

Also, don't think for a minute that some "planted questions" are not front and center. It works like this . . . . they need us, just hate like heck to come down from their ivory tower and speak openly with the "common fan". Truth. Been there, done that. Protect that seat by all means "cubbies" or you can and will lose your spot to another "team player". Said that and stand by every word.

Around 5:50 on the video and the almost silent mention of "facilities". Preparing everyone ahead of time that there will be a IPF in Athens. PR folks doing their job.
