If we are to believe and follow what the media and beat writers say (some) player wise based on *****'s, should be no contest in Charlotte.
Then I look at the teams that have beaten us this season, and it is interesting watching the media "switch gears" and cover their BS with just that BS.
Looking back over several years, same "stuff" has hit the air waves, always an excuse as to "why".
I will give anyone a "why" if they are "looking" for a "real WHY" . . . .
Motivation. Maybe the meaning from a dictionary gives a better explanation.
The state or condition of being motivated or having a strong reason to act or accomplish something.
Someone that motivates; inducement; incentive.
"We know that these players have a strong motivation to learn."
Have read many times on this board and others that our head coach is "laid back", does not motivate the same way that other coaches do. Guarantee anyone watching the Belk Bowl, we will see fire in the bellies of Petrino and grantham on the sideline.
Any of you that played football, a question . . . .
Did your high school or college coach bring the "juice" during halftime and on the sideline?
My opinion, time for things to change. If we were being "very successful" with our coaching methods, there would be a lot of different posts for all to read. What has happened to this point under this head coach is just above average. Doubt that, check the wins and losses, and against which teams the wins and losses occurred.
Something is not "right" in Athens and it is time for someone to step up. Our head coach is letting it be known that he is all about winning the game in Charlotte, that is a good thing. I hope we do and . . . . maybe see a change or changes in how coaching should be handled from the "top".
Good Monday morning.
