Hoping that I am right about Richt staying out of the way. That also is not meant to start a board war. There comes a time when those that have watched and understand "some" of what has happened in Athens are not put down. Sometimes when trying to make a point, seems like the loudest voice is heard.
Frustration comes in different packages. Those that "think they understand" . . . . and those that "think they understand". Not an error in repeating.
In this corner. If Mark Richt had been on the same coaching level as some of those mentioned in the above post, there is a simple question to be asked . . . . Don't really need to explain that.
Not everyone can be the "best". One question that needs to be asked, in my opinion . . . . Why are we not at least able to "boast" a Crystal Trophy since all of us know when we won the last one?
Not every running back is the same. Remember us going hard for Marshall, and our second choice was Gurley? Same can be said about coaches. Only difference in my mind is looking over past performances and what were the results?
Moving to the here and now. Like what I see in Pruitt, which is not much at this point, except his "history". Totally excited about Rocker, he in my opinion will be the difference in our wins and losses in 2014. Garner had given up, maybe for good reason. Gus wanted him, came to Athens recruiting Garner, appears that Garner moving to Auburn worked out well for him. How did Garner working for Richt/grantham work out?
Here and now is for Mark Richt to do what he does and not get in the way with folks like Pruitt/Rocker, not his area of expertise. Realize that "expertise" is an open word for some to "jump" . . . . do however believe Richt's expertise is his work outside the football field, living rooms etc. Not a bad thing to be able to sit and talk after the "hard work" has been done. Peddlers understand how to close the deal.
One more thingy . . . . do I think that Mark Richt is going to call the offensive plays? NO. Mike Bobo has been on board long enough to do that. Leave the coaches alone Mark.
Go Dawgs, coach'em up . . . .
Guess we are telling our age now yd1. Many years ago the Waves, all of them were trained in Maryland.
