Thursday Night NFL Draft

Listened to a good show last night that comes on twice a week about college football.

They all felt AU would win the SEC again and two said AU would play UGA in the SECCG and two said AU would play USC in the SECCG. Felt Bama could still win it BUT huge problem at QB. In their spring game, the heir to AJ stunk it up like a deer in headlights. Expect the transfer from FSU (Coker) to possibly take over in the fall.

Also said after being in Tally during the spring, that FSU is ABSOLUTELY LOADED....could run the table again.

Foley is not going to be real happy with another loss to FSU, wlayton. By the time the gators meet up with FSU, they will have played a much tougher schedule than the Seminoles. Odds are against the gators.

If we beat the gators again, probably the last straw for Muschamp. gators down my way are not happy at all.

Buc, thinking things for UGA might be too iffy this year for us to overcome(certainly hoping not)and beat the Gators. Although it would be mighty sweet, we may have too many irons in the fire.

Agree....if Muschamp loses to us again, he's done....well....unless maybe that's his only loss.

FSU is going to drill them. I think we beat UF again as well.

growl, something that I have not said directly, but will now.

grantham more or less laid the lack of learning skills on the players.

Enter Pruitt and company. Know that you remember "Boot Camp" as all of us do. First thing that happens is tearing us down, then building the future product, from scratch. Appears to me that is exactly the tactic that Pruitt is using his first year in Athens.

Come Clemson, we will see whether it was "lack of learning skills" or "lack of teaching skills".

Chief, one thing I do hear and discuss down this way is the gators and their fall from "grace" in the gator nation. Muschamp says that he does not worry about "hot seat talk", promise everyone this, he is "aware" of what is expected and the "Grumpy Old Men" (Bull Gators) are demanding a win over Georgia. Lose to Georgia, bag packing time. True feelings are reflected in season ticket sales, which are lagging in Gainesville, Florida.

Spent most of the morning and early afternoon with Greg at my VA. Will have a few things to say later on. Interesting South Georgia talk from a man that played for the Red and Black.

Going to be an interesting year Shipmate. :)

You're right Buc, it is going to be interesting this year with all the new pieces. I hope these pieces fit better than the last few years, guess I'm in the "show me" mode now, and its going to take more effort from the leaders to make a believer out of me. I do though believe in the Athletes, so I guess its time to buckle up and go for a ride, however wild it might be.
