I think Kansas City is a good spot for AM...he can learn from Alex Smith for a year or two & then take the reins. Andy Reid is a good offensive football coach & loves the short passing game; could really see Murray being successful in this offense.

Thoughts?

As for running backs, I think Gurley will definitely go 1st round & likely in the top 15; he's the best RB prospect in several years IMO.

Goose, Andy Reid and Jon Gruden have history. Not a doubt in my mind that there has been discussion between the two. Also, if Andy had not taken AM, AM was on his way to being a Saint. Sean Payton and Jon Gruden also have history. The three coaches talk and share, no doubt.

Andy Reid took AM for a reason, and that reason is not for AM to sit. AM is far advanced when it comes to reading defenses, Kansas City at some point will enjoy AM.

Gurley sees through this recent draft how important it is to be first, healthy, and second catch the football out of the backfield. Catching the ball will mean a lot come the next NFL draft. NFL is about catching the ball, more than running.

Gives us a little insight as to what Bobo will be doing with the play calling this season.

Found this video on the Kansas City Chiefs web site.

If interested, might want to watch what the scout had to say about AM. Scout was at the LSU game and others.

Have said more than once on this board that I am a AM homer. Should not say this but . . . . we have another quarterback in Athens with very similar qualities. Just saying.

AM's Kansas City Chiefs number . . . .

Young man is a winner, here is hoping that the owners this time around want to make this franchise work.

Funny how it works . . . . good football starts with the offensive line. eh? :)

Buc, I'm very happy with Bortles.......great get imo. They added 2 good WR's and Storm Johnson that Bortles played with.....believe he is a pretty good tough RB too that hopefully can contibute

Don't know of course how much you have watched Storm Johnson, he played high school football at Loganville High School in Georgia. wlayton, he was an absolute "steal" for the JAX team. Tough, good moves, plays to win. He will play in JAX. Along with Bortles, JAX made some good moves in this draft. Really want to see the franchise make a go of it. Really all that needs to be done is WIN. Same can be said for some college football teams.

Storm also catches the ball well out in the flats or downfield. :)
