You probably would not like to engage me with time . . . . could be wrong, doubt it in this conversation, for you to step up in this "particular forum". Maybe you and I should give it a "bit of a go". Do like one one one, what say "you"? I truly like "kicking butt". You have a chance at trying to beat the 'best" . . . . You have come to a board that has someone that is far and above what you are used to running in to. Speak or be . . . . "silent".

I move away from no one. I step up and kick ass for "drill". Me thinks you are "next". Do not confuse the :) it is what it is. "You have been called out". Step up or . . . .

As the past NC senator said " Im sure I cant match you with decibels or Jezebels"... :) and my :) is for real.

Buc, Did not mean this or any of my posts to have a disrespectful tone to you. Just picking.

scooby, think that you know I have been basically neutral in our conversations. There are several that have problems with some of my comments, sometimes I have a problem with my comments also.

I mean no ill will toward anyone on this board, have said some things, but realized at a much younger age, there is or should always be enough room for clear thoughts.

Just finished reading Carvell's article in the AJC. Probably many have read the article. Reason that I bring that particular piece of work to this board is a reminder to me and maybe some others just how "foolish" folks can be. AJC has been like that for many years. Speaking to the comment section.

Talladega is close to "heating up". Here is hoping that everyone ends the day with all of their body parts. Maybe we get through this race without the "Big One".

Anyway, below is the article mentioned above.

No worries Buc.

I was trying to remember how I stumbled in here. My Father is as big a dawg fan as there ever has been. I am going to say he has either listened on the radio, watched on TV, or been at every game for the last 60+ years. Back in the day he went to all the home games and most of the away. He just sat in his chair and quietly stared at the tv for a long time after loosing to bama in the sec championship game a few years ago. He is always talking about reading stuff on the dawgbone. I was trying to find it and wound up here.

I have never heard my Dad complain about MR, he really likes him. Started reading here and found mr was not liked by all. Had to ask why. Other than my Dad liking him I really dont care if he stays the coach or not. Aint gonna lie, I do get tired of reading he is a bumbling idiot who don't know offensive linemen are important etc.

I have been to one uga game in the MR era. UGA/Fl when Matthew Stafford was in his last year. What a nice day. Hate to say it but there were some whining crying dawg boys sitting in front of me and my buddy. Tebow looked like the best qb on the field that day. I left thinking there was not much difference between him and Matt Stafford. Shows what i know about football eh :P

scooby, would probably equate the quarterback thingy along these lines.

Usually it comes down to where a young man ends up, and who the teacher is. Good example of that is Drew Brees.

Most know what has happened to Tebow. When he was the leader for the gators, he had the right coach for his talents. urban had the right system for Tebow, and we know how that played out.

Same can be said I believe for AJ McCarron. He played for Nick and it paid off for both.

Lot of chatter these days about the strong arms, while that is good, the gray matter is much more important in my way of thinking. In the case of AM, reading many of the blogs, one would think a pass thrown by him further than 20/30 yards is close to his outer range.

We do have a different opinion for the Richt/offensive line area coaching and recruiting. Have watched Richt bring the offensive backfield puppies in, not so along the offensive front. Bothers me now because I know that the SEC has added another coach that will continue to build the offensive lines. Gus Malzahn. Nick Saban has been there for a long time. Bielema in Arkansas also is big on offensive line play. Arkansas will bear watching. South Carolina again this season has a very good offensive front.

After all, it is just football. Making that final four is going to a very hard thing to do. Hoping politics does not raise its ugly head in teams chosen to participate.

Cant help but think the UGA coaches did a good job putting AM in a position to succeed. The NFL guys are sometimes wrong but in their minds there were 8 or so qb's better than AM. For him to break the SEC records he broke makes me think the UGA coaches are not as bad as they are made out to be.

I wish Mr Murray well...
