"It was the first time I ever met him and when I walked out of that room 30 minutes later I was wowed," Jeremy Pruitt said. "My father looked at me and said 'That's what college football is all about.' I said right then and there if I ever had an opportunity to work for him, I wanted to be a part of his staff."
Thats what he said...

ogredawg wrote: Grantham brought changes also and he was over hyped and his resume was much more impressive than Pruitt's. So I will pass on Pruitt until he shows me on the field. What he did at FSU has no meaning on what he can or will do at UGA. An entirely different league than the patsy ACC....
I agree totally, ogre. When Pruitt was first announced and alot of the fans were giddy, I pointed out that if you reviewed the posts from when grantham was hired and changed the word grantham to pruitt you wouldn't know which was which. FSU's defense was second or third nationally when he took over, so I'm not completely convinced. I'm hopeful, but as long as richt is HC, I'm doubtful.

He has to show me he can turn our D around. FSU's D was top 3-4 anyway the year before he came to Tally.
Seems to me we had similar (maybe not quite as strong) feelings for a CTG if I remember correctly.
I'll simply wait.....

Decided to bite my tongue. It wasn't really about Georgia football anyway. Just my opinion on where college sports are heading.
