Will be interesting to hear what the defensive players have to say about AJ after the pads go on.
Offensive linemen love to block for talents like Gurley and Turman. Long about the third quarter, the offensive linemen enjoy watching these two slide just off of their hips and make someone pay.
Just like you guys, also want to hear what the coaches say or "don't say" during the Spring. All of us know that a healthy Gurley is the best or one of the best running backs in college football.
Here I go again . . . . please fix and continue to recruit offensive linemen, just like we do running backs, quarterbacks and receivers. Running backs, quarterbacks and receivers feel the same way, they understand how good they look and play with an offensive line that comes to play.
Getting close Brothers. Spring football is going to give us a good idea of what can be expected come fall. If I was on the roster, for damn sure I would believe what Pruitt has said more than once . . . . earn your spot.
One question here at the end.
How much will Theus weigh come Clemson? Just asking. I hope that he is around 300, might help with his footwork. Know that is a God given gift many times, but it can also be taught to a certain point. Just that extra second means so much. Still remember Theus and Jordan Jenkins going against each other at the Georgia Football Camp prior to signing on with UGA. John Theus showed some "fire" that night. Said not long ago that he was going to get into shape and play some football in 2014. I am on his side, hope he comes out with that fire in his belly and makes a believer out of me. Just give something that I have not seen from him to this point . . . . extra effort.
wlayton, I agree with you, he does not seem to have what it takes to hold that left tackle position down. Young men that can play that position, have their names called in the first ten when the NFL draft comes around. Check this NFL draft (2014). Not many running backs, but offensive linemen are well represented.
Buc remember watching JJ and Theus go at it at that camp too. While Theus seemed feisty, I believe he was MAD because JJ ate his lunch 2 out of the 3 one on one's.
But, getting angry can be good as long as you keep your head.
