When you can create pressure with just your front 4 like Seattle did, it opens up a whole new dimension of nasty D.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

I'm thinking the way Wilson played QB for Seattle this year that AM's stock may be rising. The small, think out of the box QB may be a lot more desirable and AM deinitely fits the mold.

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

No question Erk would have loved what SEA was doing on D. Pure GATA

Buc. You touched on this before as have others. Need to have player rotation on the line

Spot on coaches need to have the players on the field with the best skills for the defense

They have called. Supports the need for quality depth

I do remember how FSU was switching. Players on defense during the NCG

Supports my guarded say again guarded sense of tempered optimism for a ever so slight

Improvement having CJP and a new staff coaching our defense. GO Dawgs!!!

Go Dawgs!

YD1, again this morning went back and watched some video of Pruitt's defense at FSU. If that is any indication of what we will see in the Classic City, it will send a message to many teams on our schedule next year, and hopefully for years to come.

Seattle played grown man football yesterday, damn near everyone on the team. Stretching just a bit, but they did play many. Posted a video in another thread, get the chance watch the tackling skills taught by Pruitt, impressive. They "fly" to the football, and make "noise" when they arrive. :)

wlayton, from past posts on this board by you, you did appreciate what Erk meant to UGA. Beginning to believe that we will see some of that same aggressive play (legal) returning.

Both you and I know that Pruitt is on a mission, and it is not to remain as an assistant. I respect that. His coach speak is out of the way now, meaning he and the head coach when first hired swapped the high fives. Now it is time as ogredawg has said often of the hiring, show me.

FSU as a team, speaking defensively, could not have played any better. Yes they have athletes, can't remember when the same did not apply in Athens.

FSU did have some easier games, but when watching defensive film, rarely were they out of position. Made a very good Clemson team look less than mediocre. Hands full with Auburn, but the Auburn offense is/was better than many teams in the country, and they had a tremendous offensive line, Saban said those words also. Who am I to argue with the "master". :) In my opinion, Pruitt's focus on depth from Spring Ball on paid off handsomely in the NC game. They had that "little extra" when needed.
