Bad trend in recruiting

While I do not believe that grantham leaving really effected Rashaan Evans decision to scrub UGA from his list, that he said was the final nail in the coffin. Still appears to me that he is on the surge of folks that are attending Auburn.

Really wanted Rashaan Evans, but would have been totally destroyed had it been Keyon Brown that dropped us. Rashaan is good, Keyon is great. See you down the road Rashaan.

This takes me back to having no one in Athens making a decision on a defensive coordinator. They will tell us that they are doing their due diligence. Diligence can be served by those that move faster than a snails pace.

Head coach steps down, our problems are over. Now it appears we will go through the same process we went through trying to replace Willie Martinez. Landed grantham somewhere around the fourth or fifth pick. Who actually knows, could have been the tenth pick.

Several in the media are saying this is a "must get right hire" for our head coach. Just what the heck does that mean? Get a good coordinator and richt can remain forerver.

One real cure for UGA's football problems . . . . Kirby Smart. Just that easy. There did the due diligence for our athletic director and head coach.

Hand me the keys to the vault, permission to hire and fire. Football problems solved.

Found the headline in the article below amusing.

Still holding out for Kirby Smart, could be the hangup in the time lapse hiring a defensive coordinator/head coach.

We know that McGarity squeals when he has to open the vault doors.

It does seem like we're moving slow. You would have thought we would have heard something. With signing day just on the horizon the sooner the better.

Now Fran the Man comes out publicly asking for Kirby Smart to come home.

David Pollard, rates Kirby Smart as the #1 coach to return to Athens.

What we have in Athens are two folks that are basically trying to protect their jobs. Not necessarily putting UGA first. Self first, UGA second. Becoming more and more apparent.

Some on this board and others have said . . . . Getting rid of richt will mess our recruiting up, put us behind the eight ball for years to come. Tell that to the folks in Auburn, Alabama.

Watch Texas under Charlie Strong.

Where there is a cure available on the market, proven cure, one would take the medicine as prescribed. The prescription has been written.

Fran and David have played in the arena richt. They also played, did not sit on the bench or carry the clipboard. See the difference when you use words like "arena". Judge not lest ye be judged . . . .
