JSW Arrested For Pot ? was created by bulldawg36869
According to Bleacher Report JSW has been arrested for pot.

You have got to be kidding me !

Everyone talks about how good an influence Richt has on these kids.

Yea right, every year another star player gets busted for this crap.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

You can't blame CMR for that.....geez.

This happens everywhere, all the time, at every school.....no coach can totally control EVERY player.

Usually when this happens at "every other school" it is a 3rd stringer or walk-on, not star players. My point was that a lot of people say keep Richt because he is such a good person, molds these young men blah blah. Well that is crap, UGA players (especially stars and starters) get in as much trouble or more than "every other school" . No more disciplined on or off the field than "every other school".

So guess what, he is no better man for these players than he is a coach. So now we can let that argument go.

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

MR is a good influence on these guys... it's just that sometimes that doesn't make them go out and totally change their lives, and that's where the argument of supporting him because he's a good man suffers...

but who knows how many guys he might have helped walk a straighter path that you will never hear about.

All schools do have this problem. It's just at other schools you might not ever hear about that star getting caught with pot because the trooper just gave him a ride home instead. Also I doubt many of us keep tabs on other teams like we do on our own.

I will say though BD.... I agree with you that Richt being a good person is no reason to hold on to him.

Competency and success is why you keep your coach, unless he has the moral compass of Bobby Petrino and then you have to let him go regardless.

What else is new? Think wart said it in another post that there needs to be a drug policy with all of college football. JSW will end up missing two or 3 games then we will hear something drug related at bama or florida and they will miss a half of a game or something ridiculous like that.

Kids these days smoke pot. Sometimes they think they will never be caught. Hopefully it wakes JSW up and we won't hear about another drug incident from him after this.

You would think missing a game or two would stop some of these guys from being so obvious when they do crap like this. I mean I think I read that he was in his dorm room and the traced the smell to his place.

Atleast go off campus sheesh..
Or better yet just don't freakin do it.

Totally agree....BD is ONLY looking at the negative side, they don't post how many of the kids he has had huge positive effects on their lives. Shouldn't "cherry pick" ......you have to look at the whole body of work that has been done with these kids.
