My plan is to log time in the Laz-Boy watching the game and testing to be sure I have not forgotten the double secret formula for mixing Jack and water

Georgia will camp out on the sofa waiting for me to yell the magic two words - "Touchdown Georgia" which sends her into her treat seeking dash from room to room

Let the chapel bell ring loud and long come tomorrow night - Blessed to be a Dawg

OK Russ time to show why them Clemson kittens need to fear the ear - In Russ We Trust- "Go Dawgs !

Go Dawgs!

:P :P :P Well let the games begin, I mean all of them. Doing my chores in the morning so I can be free to watch football starting at 1:00pm. Won't have any pre-game butterflies till right at kickoff. Buc love the bloody mary idea with the boiled peanuts, but love the low country boil even better. I love southern food. Took this old dam yankee 56yrs to acquire the taste, now I eat it all. It's going to be blackened swordfish on the grill accompanied by a "tini" or two. Just the family over for din-din. Have to switch to gin & tonic for the game so as not to get trashed. I feel better about the game now that our strong safety is back, & not in a non-contact jersey. Growl glad to hear you plan to attend a Mercer game or two. My favorite coach Wally Butts played a little defensive end for the Bears before he got into coaching. He was a man a head of his time in the passing game & had a great run in the 40's, bowl game after bowl game & two undefeated teams in that run. Love the old school game of football, not so much of the 4& 5 wide outs. Oh well, time marches on & old farts get older. Lets get the old brown ear some tiger meat to chew on.
As always, GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DawgDoc, Wally Butts was and still is one of my favorite coaches of all time. He was all business, but my high school football coach loved him. Al Jeffrey (my high school coach) played for the 1946 team that was robbed not being named the National Champions.

Have been known to have a vodka martini or two on occasion. Low Country Boils are very popular with family and associates. Easy to prepare, and quite frankly, love eating with my fingers. Southern tradition . . . . fingers . . . . :woohoo:

Photo below of Al Jeffrey. Coach meant a lot to me, shaped a lot of the positive things that I have tried to accomplish in my life.

Little over 5 hours . . . . hoping the game is called fairly. Have seen a couple of questionable calls in other games today.

DawgDoc I plan on attending the ones that don't get in the way of UGA football, but think having Mercer in Middle Georgia cant be bad for UGA. Mercer and UGA played the first football game in Georgia on Jan 15, 1892, UGA won 50-0, and they stopped the football program in 1941 due to WW2. Should be a lot of fun. GO DAWGS! GATA

The sun shines on a different Dawg every day

I will be listening from the turn 1 track ambulance at AMS. Trying to find a way to get a tv in the truck but NASCAR wouldn't approve that! Lol
