yd1, I have an acquaintance in my area that has a serious amount of knowledge about Alabama football. Matter of fact, this gentleman goes back to the days of Bear Bryant and spent time in Tuscaloosa with folks surrounded by the "Bear".
Think I have mentioned before on this site that my Father-in-Law, Dr. Fred Quenzer was part of the group that took care of the athletes in Tuscaloosa during Bryant's stay. One of the surgeons.
This young man (Lamont Gaillard) will be discussed a lot in the very near future on this site. I will . . . .
I have one more outstanding young man and football player that I hope we get. Might not be the same one that the AJC boys keep harping about.
I truly believe that Rashaan Evans is another Jarvis Jones with the same mental capacity and drive that seems to be the type of player that Todd Grantham wants to coach and teach. I look at a lot of film, actually everything I can find.
Rashaan Evans impresses the heck out of me. He leaves Auburn City Limits, moves to Athens . . . . I see one of, if not the one hurdle we need to jump to be considered the best, or on the same level with . . . . Alabama. That is called catching up quickly in my mind. Just remember this, and I have said it in another thread today . . . . coaching at Georgia has changed, coaches and AD knew what was needed to be done. They did it . . . .
