Very good points, as always, YD1. Especially playing quality first game can only help.

Buc, that is one of my favorite pictures. Thanks for all your post. I may not comment, but read them all.

Thriller you are correct. Really like having entire D playing as unit and not just a few standouts. Glad job is going well also.

DWS enjoy time away. Hurry back, it IS time to talk football.

The first part of season is tough no doubt. Got sick and tired of everyone referring to our "soft schedules". Just luck of the draw. I am a little disappointed we were not completely able to take advantage of them. Don't get me wrong, we did some good things, just could have been a little better. Now on to 2013. First 5 games will be crucial to our success. Have said before on here, if we get by UT undefeated I expect us to go 12-0. Will I be disappointed at 4-1 after UT. No. Lot more football on horizon. We would just have a lot more of that ole Mo at 5-0. I am fired up ... hope you are too!

Go Dawgs! GATA!

TN Dawg, the article below is what I call commitment. While AM might be the third ranked quarterback in the SEC, don't see the others going all out like AM. He is not about himself, young man is a leader. Life holds a lot for AM. He is a giver not a taker. My kind of people.

I know Clemson has Sammy at WR but look at what Georgia has MM--Bennett--Wooten--Rumph--JSW--Conely--McGowan--Tibbs and yes I forgot some but IMO 3 of these WR are as good as Sammy not just one but 3 I don't see how they are going to stop them and last but not least Gurshall I know they don't like the name but I do.

Hope everybody has a great weekend goodbye!!! :)

How Bout them Dawgs!!!!!!!

Wow !!! So glad to hear from everyone! It is time for the big wheels on this train engine to start turning just a tad faster as we head into August

Great pic Buc see the same fire in CTG he would also wear some blood with his sweat for his players

My take away from the SEC hype days that nobody looking past us. Said it before and will again, this group of Dawgs understand the only way to change the conversation is to win on the field. They will do just that IMO

Georgia says we won't just bite folks this year but Russ knows how to "Shake'um" after getting a good bite. Love It ! "Go Dawgs"

Go Dawgs!

Enjoyed reading this article written by Brian Jones for the Bleacher Report. Seems he is on the same wave length that many of us are on. So many areas for AM to toss the football.

Don't get me wrong, love running the football, especially when we have talent the likes of Marshall and Gurley.

Everybody does their job on offense, could be really good. Always like the depth talk.

Really glad to get Michael Bennett back. He is all that. :)

Buc, I don't doubt we will have one of the most potent offenses in the nation, if not the MOST potent.
There are just WAAAAY too many weapons coming back. Our offense is deep with talent.

But I also like reading comments like this one from Garrison Smith, about the defense:

As you might expect, he thinks they’re going to surprise some people.

“We’ve got some young guys that most people don’t even know,” Smith said. “There are some big dudes on the D-line” Jonathan Taylor and Chris Mayes and (John) Atkins and Toby Johnson. They’re not little babies, you know. They’ve got some weight on them. So we’re not really falling off that much when it comes to size. Like I say, those guys can play and the coaches are going to coach us up and put us in position to win.”

Smith gives the Bulldogs a good place to start.

I love great big, bad dudes on the defensive line. I believe CTG does too.
