Gus Malzahn named Auburn head coach

Gus Malzahn, the offensive genius who was the architect of the 2010 national championship team and the true brains behind the operation, has been named head coach at Auburn after one year away from the program, which he spent leading Arkansas State to the Sunbelt Conference championship.

The Auburn game just got alot tougher. Win it next year and we take back the series lead.

I guess Kirby Smart going to stay at Alabama for another year then?

I thought the idea of KS going to other side of state sounded a little crazy, but stranger things have happened. Money talks and the Bu__s__t walks. Also probably has something to do with the fact that they are preparing for NC game.

Was thinking about the Malzahn hire.

Was that a clever strategy on his part??....maybe he KNEW that if he would leave the program, AU would go straight downhill.....they would fire Chizik and AU would go right back to get Malzahn.
