You know......I'm not starting a "defend CMR" statement here but maybe his statement after the USC debacle was dead on......"it was a perfect storm" for USC. At full strength, jacked up from the beginning (like us against UF) at home where fans where delirious, 2 quick turnovers and down by 21 early (like USC against UF) etc etc. In retrospect and after watching all the top teams this year and what CAN happen in college football, he might have been exactly right.

These days you never know week to week......talent is much more spread out around the country. Best example to me is, how in the world is Baylor 5-5?? They looked "all world" last night.

I believe that if we show up prepared and intense we have a good chance in any and all of our remaining games.
I also believe that in richt's description of that perfect storm wlayton was alluding to, richt left out that our team showed up unprepared, appeared unfocused, and played uninspired. That, in addition to all the elements wlayton listed, is what created the perfect storm (blowout). Let's try to avoid that in our remaining games.

ESPN just announced that Barkley won't play for USC against Notre Dame.

USC/Notre Dame is irrelevant anyway. Our job is simple and to the point: win out. That's all there is to it, just win three games. The rest is automatic.

I'm just psyched up that we are in that position - no backing in, no excuses - just win. As it should be.
