That would be HUGE for recruiting. That would almost certainly accelerate our program by 20 years. I bet a championship game with Notre Dame would be the most watched in recent history.
That said, I actually think they are the team least likely to win out. Matter of fact, I like our chances against Bama better than Notre Dame's chances against Southern Cal.

Hope you are right about the possible outcome of the SC/ND game. SC has the overall talent, seem to be having a problem with Kiffin presently. SC players, not all, seem to have the same mentality as many pro teams, (all about me) one of the reasons that Saban left Miami. Big Heads don't listen. My opinion.
Also hoping that we don't see a huge let down from our players, like a few games back when we were up and down from week to week. Keeping focused also helps prevent injuries.

I'm not that confident that we can even beat Alabama. I have seen nothing from this team to make me believe that we can get it done when needed.
Our schedule has been light. We got blasted by the best team we played all year. Florida was about to be right back in the game had Jarvis not knocked the ball loose in the end zone. Kentucky was too close for my comfort.
I just don't think this team has enough gas in the tank to go all the way.
Hate to be a Debbie Downer. I know we will beat GS and GT. Alabama in the SEC Championship on the other hand.....not so much.
Go Dawgs!!!!

Wartdawg, I would be reluctant to bet on this game.
One thing that I have noticed my friend, Saban's defensive backs are getting it handed to them on occasion. (Saban's supposed specialty) If . . . . if we can afford AM some time in the pocket, and IF AM does not have a serious case of the jitters, game could be interesting. Like the fact that if we stay injury safe the next two games, Bama has to game plan for Gurshall. Any improvement in the offensive line and this game is interesting.
Offensive line, keep building coaches, year after year. All starts there.
