Great ballplayers always seem to have a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Damian Swann is impressive!

Nice second half on both sides of the ball. Just wish we would start a little faster.

Game had me wondering from the opening kickoff through the first half. Ended well, worried about several things.

Theus is showing the effects of playing a lower level of high school football in Florida. He was rated real high by the experts, guess I can't agree with the experts.

While Theus might have what some refer to as being a bit "snarly" that all good offensive linemen have, JT is not a left tackle in the SEC for sure. Forget Theus being a pass blocking tackle, left or right in the SEC, just ain't got the equipment for that. JT is an offensive guard, he can run block, and that is not all bad, actually it is good. Said before, say it again, Theus is too slow and his initial pickups whether run or pass protect at tackle will get a quarterback killed. At guard, he can come along much faster, at tackle, left or right, will not happen.

Damian Swann, young puppy looking to make a play, understand why Grantham likes DS. If I had a team, Damian could play for me. Next season, he will be needed. Some of the replacements needed for next season need to be played, right now, not in the Spring of 2013. Young puppies coming in from high school thinking they are "all that", don't have a damn clue at this point. Only defensive back coming in that has my attention is Tray Matthews, he "should" be all that. Reminds me of #9 on the 2012 team, he will bring the leather . . . . guess the pads are not leather anymore, but . . . .

Really liked what our freshman punter had to offer today. Played a huge part in our win, SEC football requires an excellent punter if you want to rise above the others.

There is a lot to be said about this football game and the participants. Alabama and LSU coming on, want to watch all of the build up. Metternburger followers said on this board that he should be the starting quarterback for UGA. Will focus on overall team play.

Will be back for sure . . . . . :)

“We know now that it’s down to one game to win the right to go back to Atlanta,” Richt said. “We know that Auburn will be very ready to play. We know going there is a tough place to play. Auburn fans don’t really like Georgia a whole lot and we know we’re going to have to be at our best. I told the guys `Get your mind right right now, get your jaw set. We’ve got seven more days before we can have an opportunity to finish.”

This is a problem with me. Would really like to see goals set a bit higher. We will not finish by just going to SECCG. Finishing is WINNING the SEC.
IMO
Go DAWGS!
