From Athens- Game Day Friday #9

Good Morning All,

Bye week messed me up. This is Game Day Friday # 9 not last week my bad.

Well it would seem we a have a love hate relationship with our HC and his staff.

As KD stated love to beat the Gators but hates that it bought more time for CMR.

Others were disgusted that we beat UF.

Rightly questioned here as how beating the Gators two years in a row equate to being a disgusting win .

Over the #2 ranked team. Our first quality win since ole shep was a pup.

This is one to savor and watch again by the fire come late January.

Ogredawg-kudos for calling this one,must say I didn’t know which team was going to show up in JAX.

It may come to pass that we jumped on CWF to quick.

Zero sacks and our freshman tackle JT played without a flag for the entire game.

Our “O” line may have just needed more curing time. It looked like they got fired up along with the “D”.

Proof will be how will block and run the ball this week.

The question was raised has CMR really changed?

Many here feel he did a backslide to his old self that showed up during the USC game.

With back to back wins over UF (not since 1988-89) it is cause for me to think there is reason to believe he is doing something different.

Might not be all that we want more than likely it is not.

No SEC Championship since “05” and no crystal since “80”.

CMB has stepped up and done better than most of us expected. I have to think that CMR had a hand in that in some shape or form. Maybe all those hours watching film with CTG helped him bloom also.

Wart spoke about not changing his mind regardless of the outcome in the UF game and wants a new HC period.

However, we are still is basking the sunshine of a Dawg’s win.

Guess this falls under mixed blessings.

IMO don’t look to see CMR leave anytime soon unless it is his choice.

Without question the “W” last week will pay dividends come recruiting time.

Back to the future- this weekend run the ball and run the ball some more.

Short passes to get AM going.

“D” plays like it was the 5th quarter of the UF game just keep the hits coming and coming.

Special teams stay special

Still don't have much to say.....as AD5 said, maybe confused about everything?

One thing I do know......I will have "Bliss" for another 359 more days. Being around these gators, I walk a little taller, chest is a little bigger and my grin never comes off my face.

wlayton, you and I are kindred spirits. I dvr'ed the game against the Gay-tors. It may never be erased. My hatred of that sorry excuse for a school cannot be overstated.

Thank you, Dawgs, for getting up AT LEAST ONCE this year. I still want you to win out, but nothing can take this last game away from me!
