Good Morning All,

So much to comment on from this weeks postings.

Kool Aid

Sunshine pumper

Rose colored glasses

Vs

Toxic waste cocktail

Barnacle crusted pessimism

Welder’s black glasses

If you don’t have anything good to say……………

Blame fixing….

Coaches

Players

Coaches and players and the AD plus the band and those who cooked the pregame breakfast least not forget the fourth grade teacher who made you stand in the hall and write on the blackboard 500 times……

If I had to supply all the cheese to go with the whining coming from some here it would take a year’s worth of overtime for the entire state of Wisconsin. Bitch once and let it go. You can only kill the cat once.

We can’t win a NC with CMR…well kids seems if your name was not Myer,Saban or Miles for the past six years that statement would your fit your school also.

For those who didn’t like the play calling..again

When was it the last time you saw the Dawgs run a FB blast on third down for a first down?

Thank you MH! Did not see that pointed out here in as much detail as why….
We didn’t use the TE or we didn’t call a triple reverse. You get the drift.

I am sure I was the only one who fell out of my chair with the WR pass that’s so very much like CMB..

Speaking of which..

Let’s give Gruden 5 million and make him our coach he is a football wiz

Speaks out in favor of the type offense run by the Dawgs makes a positive comment about CMB
And now he isn’t smart enough to be a greeter at Walmart.. Which is it folks?

I said in last week thread that the game with Buffalo was a paid practice.

It was a lab session, tinker around with players and plays just don’t lose the game.

IMO we need to look at the game within the game.

Third quarter – we took the kickoff after the half drove the field for 6

Third quarter – “D” locked it down 5-three and outs with one 6 and out for the quarter for Buffalo

Does not take a Harvard grad to grasp what would have been the score had we played all four quarters in the same manner.

Was our play done by design or lack of………. All the above

There is no question that part of us was thinking about Mizzo and sleep walking while playing Buffalo.
It is what it is

Had we had Fla Atlantic this week back to back with Buffalo would the results and play been different?

CTG is still the same coach and he has plenty teachable moments from film of this game. I view it as a good thing.

True it was Buffalo but we did find us a pair of RB’s.

I think we have turned the corner and can put IC,WE, and CK has distant history.

Just wait until TG fills out his frame. Beast in the making. More will be heard from #4

I understand that everything that get’s posted here is an opinion just like the mine.

Stop and think if a 18 year old recruit was reading this blog, just saying.

Criticism is a fact of life and is necessary to motivate improvement; however it loses its effectiveness when not balanced with positive reinforcement even in the smallest amount.

We have some damn fine recruits here and heading this way who have bought into what is taking place in going forward with our program.

After all is said we are 1-0 to me it does sound better than 0-1 like last year

Many here are old enough to remember Ali's rope a dope - we will find out Saturday if the Brooklyn
Bridge was sold this past Saurday.

Be back on Friday-stay safe “Go Dawgs”

Go Dawgs!

Decaf.

And for context and balance, one cream, one sugar.

Yankee, as always appreciate your post and I guess it does open my eyes to rethink my opinion of CMB.

Instead of saying CMB stinks as an OC, I will just say he stinks as a play caller. No continuity and bad timing. Appreciate the fact that Gruden won a Super Bowl but his overall record was not great. Several ex-coaches and players that do play by play and analysis have questioned Bobo's play calling during games.

We have some studs at running back finally, let's use them. The quick strike offense puts points on the board but it also puts the defense on the field way too long. Buffalo had more time of possession than UGA did. There is a reason that you don't see teams that lead the country in scoring...in the national championship hunt. Their defense is usually on the field for 40 minutes or more a game. There is a lot to be said for time of possession and the play calling has a lot to do with it.

looking forward to a Saturday night fight.

I think [insert appropriate caveats on thinking here] that our analysis of the Buffalo game has been a tad overdone, but let's face it: as a group it's what we do.

Last year was one of the ugliest years we've had in a while. Not for the record, but the way the record was achieved. However, the fan mentality is typically that anything short of perfect deserves analysis and second-guessing and woulda-should-coulda insight as if any of us were qualified to stand on the sidelines.

Sure, I would have loved to shut out Buffalo, but if anybody thinks that our defense is poor due to the performance against them, then I say sit back and watch. As another poster here said, Buffalo was probably playing above their punching weight in this game. Georgia is the best team they face all year and they wanted to prove they could hang with us. We, on the other hand, weren't concerned with Buffalo and so the edge was off our game.

As to coaching? Over the years I've come to the conclusion that our fan base will never be happy with anybody. If we don't run the plays the fans think should be run then the coach sucks, right? Problem with that mentality is that the coaches in question have the best winning record for their years of tenure of any coaches in UGA history. Anybody remember Ray Goff? My point is that we, as a group, are not going to be happy unless we win every game by a wide margin and take a national championship every year. Not that this is bad, in context, but it's irrational (because it's unattainable).

Fan feedback, however, is good for one thing, and that is that passion equates to love. If none of the above back-seat-coaching ever happened, we'd be...well...Georgia Tech.

YD1 with all due respect instead of starting another thread you might just have well as posted this in the support CMR thread. Give my crickets some company.

Calling people whiners for expressing an opinion just like you have in this thread I thought was above you.
