For some time I have been trying to remember who Jarvis Jones reminds me of . . . . Came like a bolt of lightening . . . . Patrick Willis who played for Ole Miss and now with the San Francisco 49'ers. Both care about their roots and when they are on the field, it is serious. Below is another article by Seth Emerson that I enjoyed reading.
Who says that good news reporting does not get attention, probably too true in most cases. Jarvis Jones as has been said more than once on this board and others, a special human being. Have to say this . . . . thanks to the powers that had the foresight to bring Todd Grantham into the UGA fold. Can't imagine where Jarvis would be at this point had Wille been the defensive coordinator.

Edit: Thought I would throw this quote in made by Mark Richt . . . . this is not the same Mark Richt that was the head coach prior to the 2012 season. Really believe that some of the antics of the "Dream Team" and others finally made the light go in Mark's head. Good on him.
Richt on improvement in backup offensive lineman Austin Long’s practices: “Maybe he saw the ship leaving without him, and he was, like, ‘Man, if I’m going to make it, I’d better get it done every day.’”
Basically the same thing he said to Jay Rome, little different, but it can be called getting a players attention. . . .
