TN Dawg, the new crop of green peanuts are in. (August 1st) I started with a half bushel, probably end up buying a couple of bushels this season. Like to boil my peanuts, makes for a lot of good football talk and cold beer or whatever around the pool. Cannot beat the Hardy Family when it comes to boiled or fresh green peanuts. As you know they also boil and ship, can't eat that stuff in cans or the raw peanuts that is sold at most road stands.
Main thing, the Hardy Family proudly wears the Red and Black. . . . .
Don't know if Steve will allow this but . . .

Edit: My first 1/2 bushel is being delivered today 8/3/12 by UPS. Big day tomorrow harrassing gators by my pool . . . .
Edit #2: yankeedawg1, realize that you have been "converted" hope you will take a few minutes and watch this film. I was born south of Hawkinsville in Douglas, Coffee County. Back in the day we did not have tractors such as the one in the film. We pulled the "goobers" out of the ground by hand. For over seventy years I have enjoyed what I call "Red Neck Caviar" . . . and proud of it.
