Buc, spot on about it is going to be a long hot summer in Athens.
Words are not going to fix our “Pot” problems.
CTG is frying eggs on his forehead. Folks will be doing many hours of extra running. CJT will have a hand in the corrective actions also.
CTG is preaching that you are selling off your net worth to the NFL by doing dumbass things like getting DUI’s and failing drug tests.
Of note Tree and Rumbo are not CTG recruits. It would seem that there love of weed started before coming to Athens. As did IC’s last year.
Buc, also agree that Rumbo says all the right things but his actions fall short of what needs to be done.
As I have said here before that one door opens and another closes.
I wish that those who do get the opportunity to play well and help the team.
The knee jerk reaction is to kick them off the team; there is a slim possibility that the promise of NFL money might drive them to reforming.
Mindset should change after being busted the first time, however time will tell.
The silver lining in this is we will have all our players back before the USC game. Providing that others don’t mess up after the season starts.
Youth is wasted on the young.
Understand Mac is interviewing “Weed” control experts this week.
What did I say about Murphy being in Athens? I wonder how he would like Dreamland –BQ and Tuscaloosa. I will help load the moving van.
Pause and give thanks, Easter is within sight.
Have a great weekend and a safe week.
As also “Go Dawgs”

It will be interesting when the powers that run the program decide to speak up. Not sure what can be said that has not been said over and over. Disheartening.
Would not surprise me if Coach Grantham introduces Rambo to the bench patrol unit. I really hope that Rambo's replacement plays outstanding football. That would really help send a message to others that might consider making the same mistake. Time for hard line tactics, this one and two game suspension punishment apparently has had no effect on many of our players.
Have a great weekend, back rub for Georgia.
Go Dawgs . . .

Edit:
Not happy with Ogletree either. Sure bet in the NFL and this is his second serious run in with rule breaking at UGA. NFL is trying to show a tougher side, New Orleans etc. That will at some point aid college football. Money tends to get folks attention.

Big problem in Athens and not sure there's an easy answer....although I love AD5's solution using the NCAA mandates equally and across the board. Makes perfect sense to me and what a deterrant that would be not being able to transfer to another school.....YOU'RE DONE with college football per those rules mentioned by AD5.
Rumbo's mouth reminds me a lot of his tackling ability....looks the part but usually not fulfilled.
Keep you ear to the ground and let us know anything new up in "God's Country".
As always, will toast a cool one to your Friday post tonight.
Thanks again for your Friday posts.....love reading them.....short clips and straight to the points!

I do have one question, would CMR got his raise if Tree and Rumbo got caught before he got his raise? To me yes, but a good sit down and a hand slap. And this is sad to me.

May be wrong but I would bet Grantham's Defense doesn't skip a beat.Buc wrote: Good Morning yankeedawg1. Not much more can be said, it just appears that the program is in free fall.
