Here's a thought. Wonder how long ago this happen?

Bc did'nt the kid from TN that we got to change his mind and come to UGA Sheldon might be his name. Does'nt he play DB? Wonder if that could have been some sales pitch to get him that he has a chance to start right away now.

He probably would be a good DB.....my understand is he's a RB all the way.

Knowing the way these things usually go down I'd be surprised if it were a surprise,either they were caught redhanded or its been an ongoing thing with these three. They'll be at tenn. ,or,ala, or aub, and the guys they were ripping off will have a chance to hit 'em hard.

I heard one of the guys on Signing Day talking about Gurley and how he could also make one hell of a Safety at UGA.

My thoughts now go to Malcolm Mitchell. Yep, he is a fine reciever, he is also an incredible DB or Safety. There was a back and forth at the beginning of his signing his LOI at UGA as to whether he would play defense or offense.

Brings back thoughts of Champ Bailey and him playing both ways. Mitchell is a superior athlete, even has time to take on challenges from one of the fastest running backs in the country. If you folks watched the race, there was not a lot of difference at the finish line between Marshall and Mitchell.

Right now it appears to me that we have a pretty solid receiving corps. Move Mitchell to defense and let him play a few downs on offense. Mitchell would be a terror with a lot of speed and great hands on the D side of the ball. If I am Coach Grantham, I want Malcolm on defense.

Edit: MM would probably have more receptions on defense . . . possible, don't laugh too loudly. Little piece of film below that most of us have watched before.

I wouldn’t think that they knew of this ahead of time. Otherwise, I’d think they would have been able to land the Redmond kid that signed with Miss State.
