Your PROUDEST seasons . . .

I will divide this question into two parts:
As a young boy the proudest seasons were the mid 70's- the 80's when I shared the experience of a Saturday afternoon in Athens with my dad. Those 70's teams were not the greatest teams, but we had a great time together.

As an adult I will say the 2002, 2005. and 2007. There were good and bad game in each of those seasons, but that has been the history of UGA football.

show the success of CMR. I guess I am proud of the 2007 season because at the end of
the year I think we had the best team in the nation, but that is also a source of
IMMENSE frustration for me.

The reason it is a source of immense frustration for me is that despite having what
I considered to be the best team in the nation; we somehow lost at home to a SC team
that ended up 6-6, and didn't just lose, but got blown out at Tennessee.

Had we won either of those games... we probably would have been NC that year.

Agree with you Wart....2007, we were, hands down, the best team in the country and didn't get to play for the NC.

Great and frustrating in one sandwich.
