Of course North Carolina has problems to face as yet with the NCAA. Agree with you that the "spirit" was not shown by North Carolina. Be interesting to see how the new head coach does. With that said, hoping that Todd Gurley does not want to go through a rebuilding or not being able to participate in some major bowl during his collegiate career.
South Carolina losing coaches, Muschamp has his hands full at this point, Chizik might really be behind the eight ball.
Early season away game, brings back some memories of Colorado and what we did (or didn't do) out there.
Looking at the schedule, if this schedule plays out as posted, with the talent in Athens and some others that will soon be there, no reason for not returning to Atlanta.
My biggest problem with the schedule is this . . . we win out, all of the games, including Atlanta, might end up being a downer with the way the ratings are put together. Takes me back to Auburn and how they did not play in the MNC. Something called strength of schedule.
Not trying to dampen the thoughts of being a really good team, just reminds me a bit of Boise State over the years and how they are never quite considered for the MNC. Back to that strength of schedule thingy. . . . .
Might be a little too early to talk like this for some, just putting personal thoughts out and what might be.
Right now, hoping that our coaching staff is doing the things that are being put in print for all of us to read. Preparing this team to play at a very high level. Said before, Michigan State is coming to Tampa to play football, not go to the beach. Hope we beat the heck out of them, that would turn some heads, especially the Big Whatever.
Michigan State and Missouri have some similarities when watching what they have done on tape and TV scheduled games this past season. Both play hard nosed fundamental football.
Go Dawgs . . . Let us not repeat Memphis. Perish the thought.
