Very favorable schedule Buc......dropping the Tide next year can only help us......need the win in the Outback Bowl to kick off next season on the right note......still have 9-10 to sign in this years class.....with the talent coming back that we have we should be reloading big time......know we have done that on the D line side of the ball and getting some big guys on the O side looking better.....

Still have crossed fingers on Josh Clemons. ogredawg, if you have not looked at any film (youtube) on Tray Matthews (2013 commit) young fellow is awesome. I have been looking at some of the film on TM this morning, hard to believe he is as good as he is at such a young age. Incredibly hard hitter, always looking for someone to hit. Reminds me of #9 Ogletree. Get these two along with some we are courting, UGA could be really awesome for some time to come. Also crossing fingers on Coach Grantham. My opinion, that is a must.

So right on the favorable schedule ogredawg. Actually I was looking forward to playing Alabama this upcoming season, find out where we are at. Might still get that chance in Atlanta. Like sadlerdawg said earlier, hope we come out at the opening bell swinging. Starts with Michigan State in Tampa. Happy New Year! :)

thriller, we will be fine. Buc made a good point of UF having to play USC the week before the UGA/UF game. We play UK........rather play UK than USC the prior week, that's for sure. Certainly glad UF doesn't have an open date.

wlayton, all of us know that SS is going to do everything in his power to beat the gators.

Traveling distance is not that far, however when we can't sleep in our bed, even though the facilities are nice, not the same.

Third year under our defensive coordinator, get the offensive line to come together, running backs come together also, this could be the "team" that we have been wishing for. Schedule supports that.

Really believe that we will lose Hutson Mason, can't blame the young man . . . just a guess, but probably a good one.

First time in a long time that we have the depth and awareness in the Red and Black that we are witnessing. As ogredawg alluded to, keep stacking the wood on the pile, not to rebuild, reload. Seems to be the pages out of Saban and Miles books. We are close.

Really want to be that UGA team that folks don't look forward to playing when they look over their upcoming schedule.

Buc, can't agree more. Never seen so much talent accumulating in Athens in my 50+ years of following the Dawgs. Once they solidify the RB and ST's situation we might be scary good. With you on Mason, with Ramsey coming in too, felt he may transfer as well. He would start at most schools, just not over AM.

If we take care of MSU convincingly, I think our upside is unlimited......exciting and nervous at the same time. Guess that's what it's all about.:woohoo: :woohoo:

I like it...

Sept. 1: Buffalo - WIN
Sept. 8: at Missouri - Possibly tough, but very WINNABLE
Sept. 15: Florida Atlantic - WIN
Sept. 22: Vanderbilt - WIN, Vandy may score negative points against CTG
Sept. 29: Tennessee - WIN
Oct. 6: at South Carolina - Tough, but WINNABLE
Oct. 13: at Kentucky- WIN
Oct. 20: Open
Oct. 27: vs. Florida in Jacksonville - WIN
Nov. 3: Ole Miss - WIN
Nov. 10: at Auburn - Should be a WIN
Nov. 17: Georgia Southern - WIN
Nov. 24: Georgia Tech- WIN

2nd season in a row, the schedule is set up sweet for UGA

I understand strength of schedule might be of some concern even if we win out
and take the SEC, but we will have to face a pretty tough team in the
SECCG. Plus, to be honest... I don't care about it that much. The NC sans a
playoff system is still a somewhat mythical title. A few years ago, we were
probably the best team in the country at the end of the season, but our early
faux pas didn't allow us to get in that game.

Don't get me wrong here.... I want a NC as bad as anyone else, but the schedule
is what it is and that's that. It's always been my philosophy that the goal(s)
for UGA is beating UF, Tech, and winning the SEC. After that, you just let the
NC game stuff work itself out however it's going to work itself out.

God Bless and Go Dawgs
