GooseDawg78, with you on the offensive linemen. Continue to be impressed with Friend. Apparently this hire was a very good one. Friend is on the recruiting trail hot and heavy. I try to follow the recruiting sites and look to see who is doing the hands on work. Friend's name is popping up more and more. Impressed to say the least. For sure he speaks the same language when speaking with potential Dawgs.

yd1 and Goooooose, ya'll probably already know these details on Beard but thought I would ask my guy about him......here's his skinny on him.



"Beard chose UGA over Miss State and Arkansas. He wasn’t highly recruited out of high school. He signed with Troy, but then went the JuCo route. He’s more highly thought of now after going to JuCo. I wouldn’t say that he’s a huge recruit, but I think they believe that he’s a guy that can come in and immediately challenge for a starting job and at least provide good depth on the OL. He’ll be a sophomore. UGA needs able bodies on the OL, and he helps with that."

Ain't gonna happen. This isn't the same bunch we screwed around with in '08 and let hang around. Although I can remember there being a solid 2 minutes on the clock and Bobo/Richt basically running it out at the end of the first half. If we don't play solid we could get beat by two scores.

southernlover, too much talent on this football team to sit on the football. This game needs to be played like a SEC Championship Game. Michigan State Seniors are coming to Tampa to win. Don't need another Memphis affair, that would sour a lot of positive things that were accomplished this season. We get a real good look at Bobo in this game. Agree with you, better be ready to play 4 quarters.

Southernlover,you are correct this is not the same MSU team we faced three years ago.

However just as they have changed so have we..for the better. Both teams have improved.

Buc... we need to play all four quarters as you have stated.

Line up MSU defense in the dome against LSU and see if they would hold LSU to zero first downs,no completed passes and 21 yrds rushing in 30 minutes playing time. Me thinks not.

We will be focused and ready to start another win streak,won't be no overlooking MSU,

Buc, you know why AM & OC want to have a great game in TPA.. BJ and our seniors want a 11 win season. MSU has not seen a passing game like UGA has. I think we need only run enough to keep the "D" honest.

I don't think MSU has the same level of depth that LSU has,don't think any team in the country does. IMO we will play both halves.

yankeedawg1, we play four quarters, win or lose, this Dawg will be very happy. (Of course I want to win) No more Memphis type football for me. That would ruin much of what has been changed for the better this season.

That damn pigskin takes funny bounces, many times it breaks our heart.

I will say flat out that Michigan State does not have the total package to beat UGA in a series of 5 games, more than once maybe twice. As you know, that leaves the barn door wide open, and that is not a good thing. Get these guys ready to play Richt, no horsing around. Excuse the pun, barn door and horses. . . . .

yd1, I always get excited when we play a team from above the Mason/Dixon. It is not so much the team or teams, it is the media, they really don't understand "American Football", spelling is real easy, second grade level . . . . Southeastern Conference Football. . . . . .
