Absolutely right. The only back who had any heart was Richard Samuel. I'll give him team player of the year award, has been shuffled around like a kid in a foster home but has never complained. I pray he has one hell of a season next year. Hats off to this fine young man.AllDawgs5 wrote: Ben was robbed. That is a shame. I focused a lot on the o line at the beginning of the year. I think they matured into a pretty good group. One thing I notice when watching bama, Richardson breaks arm tackles going through the line of scrimmage. He makes holes when there aren't holes. Our RB's for the most part, did not do that. The o line got better, IMO toward the end of the year, the RB's didn't. Saw some seems against lsu. Problem was, I also saw backs being arm tackled. Our rb's didn't do anything to help our o line.

Here's my thing. I'm not going to say BJ was "robbed". If I do, I am totally discounting the
ability of the center that did win the AP-AA vote. As much as I love Jones, I can't say he was
more deserving than the other guy who did get the honor. My homerism is tempered by more objectivity
than that. Maybe.. just maybe.. it's possible that the winner is a deserving beast. If so, it's
not fair to say Jones was somehow "robbed".
Agree completely with you on the RB's. IC has some skills and all that, but he doesn't often run with
what my coaches called "violence". Unfortunately, I don't think Richt has historically ever had
backs that "run with violence" in his lineup.
