Kansas hires Charlie Weiss = back to back over UF?

Weiss might be over-rated, but Kansas can't do much but improve. Still, the cupboard is pretty bare. Kansas is a basketball school. Always will be.

Well when you are comparing the new coach to Turner Gill, you could say you brought in a
Fathead wall graphic cardboard cutout, and you've probably made an improvement.

Gill has landed at Liberty (FCS). I like Gill personally, he is a man of great faith. He did some good things at Buffalo. But he was clearly in over his head in the Big XII-iv+ii. He should do well at Liberty, it is a good fit for him.

Yeah I've heard he's a really good guy. He just always looked lost to me. Didn't quite keep up with what he might have done at Buffalo..that's pretty far off my radar.
Still... good guy. Jokes about his prior performance aside; I hope he does well at Liberty.

Actually would probably have a better chance of beating UF with Weiss still around. No doubt that Brady and the defense was the key to the Patriots success. Everyone that has left that program has failed miserably.
