wlayton, if Friend gets the offensive line two deep, this run could be serious for many quarters of football in the future. Makes sense to me when you are able to run the ball, good things happen. Running the ball effectively in the SEC is as important as playing defense in the SEC. (Almost anyway

)
From what I hear from some that I know and those that I don't know, it appears that Mark Richt has finally caught on to the fact that the O and D lines are more important than a class full of running backs. Great offensive line and mediocre running back plus great defense, wins many games. Great running back, sub-par offensive line does not bode well.
It is apparent that we went to sleep when it came to signing offensive line prospects. That is one of the reasons in the recent past that we went to JUCO's for the quick fix. I know that we had some injuries that hurt badly, think we counted too heavily on the return of some from serious injury. Also realize that Mark Richt was not going to kick someone to the curb, admirable. This however should not allow us to be weak, lots of young folks would love to attend UGA that go to other colleges and do real well.
Know that Grantham and company really want Josh Harvey-Clemons in this recruiting class. That would be a major signing in my opinion. Also believe we are going to land a defensive lineman that many think will be crossing the Alabama/Georgia line. Have a feeling he will remain on the Georgia side of the Chattahoochee. We will see.
One more, noticed that Grantham had some nice things to say about Ramik Wilson. When Grantham says anything about a freshman, you can be sure good things are on their way. I know of Ramik, ANIMAL.
