Many now think our biggest rival is the Gayduhs, and they are probably correct. There is however
nothing in this old world that's going to make the in state rivalry with Tech diminish. As strong
as it's ever been, should be how it always is. The Florida rivalry might have surpassed it, but
that was due to growth of that hatred more-so than we started hating Tech less leading to that
rivalry falling down the dislike scale.

So as much as we've ever hated Tech... most of us still hate them the same amount that we
always have, and that's a pretty fair amount my friends.

If anyone; fans, coaches, or players, isn't "ready"... then I'm gonna pull their Dawg card,
because they 'aint one.

Coach Dan Magill is quoted as saying , "I don't care if it is football, basketball or tiddly-winks; you always want to beat Georgia Tech!"

Hey, sometimes nothing conveys the proper tone better than a well placed stream of cursing.

My kids tell me I've made cussing an art form.

Well mine are only 7 and 5, so I've got to still bite my tongue around them....

...but one day they will find out their dad can let the expletives fly when properly
motivated.




I'm pretty sure this is going to happen right about the time the first one gets his
driver license, but it could come sooner.

Good friend of mine sent me an email, said he was sitting around the 40/45 yard line on the Southside and he could hear some of what Grantham, excuse me, Coach Grantham was saying, apparently he got the young whipper snappers attention. Looking forward to this weeks game. Grantham does not like giving up touchdowns.

One of the problems I think with AM against Kentucky, he is trying to be too nice to ALL of his receivers. I witnessed Orson Charles open more than once and AM went another way with the ball. Open man gets the ball AM, not time to be a friend to all. Makes the receivers work harder to get open.

Went up on a Tech site, first time ever believe it or not. Most there that have a lick of sense think it will be a close game, as do I. Think the spread is around 5.5 at this point. Feel that Coach Grantham will make Tech throw the ball . . . . . kentdaddy is going to love watching his main dude (29) have a field day with that strategy. Kind of game where I feel we really need to play positional football.

Yep... defending that option is predicated on discipline; maintaining your assignment, not
over pursuing, and making the tackle. Those things are always important, but against that
option attack you can get shredded if you don't play with discipline.
