If he felt God wanted him in a different place, I get the
very distinct opinion that he would put self aside and
be content to do what the Lord wanted him to do.
Winning a NC championship is a human desire, and the
whole basis of the Christian religion is that we set those
human things aside for the spiritual, and one thing I have
never doubted is CMR's Christian sincerety.
I don't think for one second he would tell God to hold on
for a little while whilst he goes about trying to fulfil his
personal desires. That's pretty much the opposite of
turning your life over to Jesus, laying down your fishing
nets, and following him.
