Rumors often become speculative "articles". That's how
article writers often get "the big scoop".

Just as often though... they just remain as a long passed rumor.

Maybe a few years from now but he would be crazy to leave with the talent here now and those coming in.....his last chance to go after a NC.....would think he would like to win one before he hangs it up.

He might, but the mans faith and convictions are strong.

If he felt God wanted him in a different place, I get the
very distinct opinion that he would put self aside and
be content to do what the Lord wanted him to do.

Winning a NC championship is a human desire, and the
whole basis of the Christian religion is that we set those
human things aside for the spiritual, and one thing I have
never doubted is CMR's Christian sincerety.

I don't think for one second he would tell God to hold on
for a little while whilst he goes about trying to fulfil his
personal desires. That's pretty much the opposite of
turning your life over to Jesus, laying down your fishing
nets, and following him.

I'm REALLY with ya on this one......yes, if he felt the Lord wanted him to go NOW, Mark would certainly be obedient, no question about that.

That might be enough to keep CTG interested in staying for a long time. :cheer: I understand CMR has sold a lot more property this year (or put on the market) than just the Lake Oconee property . . . hmmmm.
