I get streaming updates about UGA football sent to my phone and yesterday's were hilarious.

First I get an alert that says "IC misses practice for undisclosed reasons" and I'm sitting there
saying "great, here we go again"...

10 minutes another alert comes through that basically says "Oh wait.. there he is"

So I'm fully on board with the media panic button on this one, lol

What all of this came down to was a reporter for AJC put out information for all to see, then backtracked.

What IC did was excusable and this should never have hit the airways. That includes folks like me. I have special feelings about this young player because a certain person on this board really wanted IC in Athens.

Really want IC to prosper along with the team. Went back and watched the Abuurn game again yesterday, one of my main reasons was watching IC and the number of yards that he produced carrying the ball. Look at the numbers in print and it made me wonder, just did not seem he had that many. That however is the way really great backs make it look . . . . . easy.

I do hope he stays on top of his game and actions and takes the upcoming offseason seriously, returns to Athens and is all we want him to be.

With ya Buc.....certainly hope he's not a "head case", works hard and wants to be a part of something that could be special. Guess we'll see.

Last Sat. IC really seemed to be running much harder than before.....maybe better attitude, maybe healthier, hopefully he was apologizing. He hit the hole hard and was getting YAC's. He ended up with 132 yards, good days work. Got to work on not fumbling the ball, don't blame him "too" much for the 2nd one, thought that was a very good defensive play.....the LB was 2 feet in front of him when AM was handing him the ball....AU caused that one imo.

We'll see....he has soooo much potential.

he did not run hard in the 1st half......started running hard after CT was breaking it up the middle and off tackle......the 4th qtr was when IC got most of his yards and the TD......kid needs an attitude adjustment......hope he works it out..... Keith Marshall will commit and Derrick Henry is coming....

When I looked back at the game film I saw IC looking a whole lot like someone else we know and love from the past. He has the chance to be very, very special at UGA an get his name in stone. He was not afraid of contact that I could tell,but, I did see some auburn guys looking mighty tentative about hitting him later in the game,he ran thru folks,over folks around folks and plain punished the tackler.
