No use crying over spilt milk but if we had won that one, we would have already clinched the east.

averagedawg, I remember Walsh's high school days in Ft. Lauderdale. He went through a period when he missed for no apparent reason. One of his strengths coming out of high school was his ability to kick the ball into the end zone. He was rated very high prior to college, and then hit the college level and had continued success, rating wise.

Guess the one thing that bothers me now is his lack of fire. Seems quite laid back. On the other hand, this directional kicking that was forced on him at UGA soon after his arrival played with his head. No doubt in my mind about that. Thought it was corrected with a coaching change, now I see him directional kicking again. Does not take much to screw a kicker's head up.

I don't think it's necessary to put many of our O and D starters in on special teams.

Our issues go beyond personnel. Coastal Carolina's special teams would put ours to shame.

I think the issue is that whoever is coaching our special teams doesn't know what they
are doing. Period, end of story.

Can't believe we can't find a kicker that can kick it through the endzone.....other teams can.

Find one and you can play the cheerleaders on kickoff coverage.

Supposedly we have one that is #2 in the kicking department. Brought the young fellow in from California, because of his depth on kickoffs, used a scholarship and what . . . .

Scares me to death to think we need to load up our ST with starters. We're not deep enough to risk
it and I do absolutely think someone who knows how to actually coach ST could make a drastic
improvement. Every aspect of our ST is falling in around us, and that's got to be more than
just quality of players.

That s what I was fixing to say Buc, I believe his name is Boata or something like that, he is from Cal and we did give him a schlorship. It just makes no since as to why CMR would bring this guy in and then not use him to put in in the end zone. Sometings I think that CMR has a loyalty thing. He will not play the best players, he plays the one that have done their time. I hate that Walsh is having problems, but do you lose games, just to let a guy know you still have confidence in him. If he knows that CMR is not going to use anyone else then what the hey.

I've heard other sports casters say that UGA needs to use their starters on ST. This is a weakiness that can cost us a championship.

I meant to ask ya'll the other day, if ya'll heard the sports caster calling the game, call the next play that BOBO was going to run before we ran the play. Sure enough BoBO ran the exact same play the he thought we'd run. Talk about a predictable offense.
