It does concern me that Fairly go nothing, and KG got this. Seems to be a good kid, who was trying to defend himself.

Football is football, let the kids play. It is an intense, hard hitting affair. If they were not supposed to hit, then take the helmets and the shoulder pads away. We are raising a very wimpy generation.

"OK, let me say this again. UGA football is a heck of a lot bigger and more important than these two folks that somehow think they have a grip on things. Both of these coaches should be suspended for their actions. For Richt, low rating a player to another coach and fibbing about not knowing what was said during his face off with Franklin in his press conference. Not suspended necessarily by Slivebag, but by their university presidents. Lots of luck with Adamsbag.

Don't care about rules from the league or the university saying keep your mouth shut. These two, Franklin and Richt are the main culprits at this point as far as I am concerned.

Those that are against Grantham are pretty much elsewhere, not from folks that I read posting on this board. UGA will end up losing this coach, like every other "skilled" defensive coach we have had dating back to Erk.

There must be a reason for the negativity here . . . . Is it the people that don't agree with Richt or the folks that do?

Folks here can say anything that they want, facts are facts. The University of Georgia Football Program has been in decline. If there are those here, regulars, not fly by night posters that disagree come forward and discuss it. Anyone that watches UGA football knows that Richt does not have a handle on this program. Truthfully, don't think he has the mental capacity to hold the position of Head Coach at UGA.

Folks, to this old fart, things do not look real good. Big smiles and pearly white teeth are not what this program needs.

Two more questions for the members. Why did Richt just hand the job of defensive coordinator to Grantham and get out of the way? Answer, he does not fully understand that side of the ball. Grantham does.

Why did Richt hand the job of offensive coordinator over to Bobo? Answer, I think Richt had other things to do and he cannot chew gum and walk at the same time.

Huge game coming up in JAX. Guess we will play by League/SEC/Slive rules. No Kwame or Williams for one half. I suggest this . . . let the two players play and Richt misses the first half. Might be the winning ticket.

Buc, this is the segment I was speaking of. It talks a little about, but not much about the officiating on Saturday!

We don't have to agree, but we do agree on several things. The "island" has turned into so much more than the joke it began as.

Without two point of views, there would be no need for this board. We are here to discuss football, and have some fun.

I for one would love to keep CMR and CTG and the rest of the defensive staff. CMR has to go if we lose this week obviously! If we beat UF, how will everyone feel then.

I APOLOGIZE, since it seems to be the theme this week:) , if I offended you, was not my intent. I thought we tried to stay on task most of the time.

Now back to Officiating, it seems like everyone accept for the SEC office thinks the officials screwed up on Saturday, and let the game get out of hand.
