Could not believe that I was reading from Buck's blog. Guess sooner or later he had to realize that many were having problems with his assessment of UGA offensive football. He knows that Bobo is in a sink or swim situation and more and more it appears that the former is the case.

Agree, that is the game that I watched.

Whether indirectly or not, seems a lot of people lately, from coaches on down to color analysts, have been distancing themsevles from Bobo...

Think I mentioned this one time before.

Maybe Richt is smarter than I thought. Moving his "puppy" topside to avoid being on the sidelines with that "Maniac Grantham".

Still believe that is the reason that Richt sent Bobo to the box. Like one of the posters on this board said two or three weeks ago, when Bobo was in school he was a tough guy, when he had a couple of 300 pounders backing him.

Think about this...

We keep complaining about Richt playing not to lose.

He seems content to turn it over to his D to preserve victory.

If we win, CMR/Bobo offense put up 33 points. If we lose, all of a sudden "the D couldn't hold them"
after the O had us in the lead late.

He seems content to put the onus on someone else. CTG wasn't his guy, so why not try and shift
the blame his direction a bit if we lose. Many seem to support CTG, so let's put the onus on him. If it works, we win... if we lose, well it's not the fault of my boy Bobo! Bobo (my boy) had us up before Grantham (everyone else's boy) lost it!

That's the cynical view.. I grant you that.

The non cynical view such as it is still amounts to CMR knows his 5th choice CTG and his defense are the best thing we've got going and what we better be doing is depending on him to come through at
the end, because lordy knows our O isn't going to take care of it themselves.

So why are we not ripping on CTG and his defense Saturday night? Well because even our HC knows
that's the best thing we've got going, and our main hope of success. That is where this team
is trending upwards... at least at a better pace than the other side.

CTG gets a pass from me on the D performance against Vandy...after all his D gets the credits for most of our wins to date......I think the players were actually believing the press reports about how good they are and thought no effort was needed to stop Vandy......I think it will actually help them prepare for the gaytors......kinda a wake up call so to speak...

Exactly.

Which drives home my point for today.

I still talk negatively about Richt because Richt has done little so far this year to deflect any of
that criticism.

I don't talk as negatively about CTG and our D because CTG and our D have done something to deflect
a lot of criticism.
