Correct me if I'm wrong, since you like to type "wrong," but I recall plenty of people (on this site) saying the USC game wasn't on the coaches. Many said it was on the players, but the player that was mainly talked about was Murray. I'm not trying to bash AM, but the USC game did fall on his shoulders. Inregards to the two losses I was talking about two SEC losses, excluding BSU. Of course this is all IMO.

recall many saying it was special teams that lost the Carolina game.....me I don't place the blame squarely on a single player......after all they are playing because they want to......now blaming the coaches is another story.....they get paid big $$$$ to coach up this talent and IMO they are failing big time....have another glass of the "sweet tea" CMR is serving...

Hmm...don't believe CMR is serving the tea considering I was drinking a soda and the man was in Tennessee tonight, not Perry, GA. Never said the coaches weren't failing to do their job. I didn't think that I had to considering it has been said enough. Once a play is called though, its up to the players to execute it. Special teams failed on one play, if my memory serves me correctly, mean while our offense turned it over three times. Murray pick 6, murray fumbled which turned into a TD, and fumble by IC. The main reason AM is picked but not only me but others is because when the turnover happened it was crucial in the game. Each of us have our own opinions and reasons so I don't expect to see eye to eye. If you do get around CMR though, do ask him if he wouldn't mind serving me some sweet tea.

born2bAdawg wrote: Well, Wart I'm sure you and everyone else here knows I support Richt. I believe we were just spoiled early in his career. We should have two National Titles but we don't, but I'm not willing to just throw the man out considering what he has brought to the University and the simple fact that I don't even KNOW him. Anyone here, would you just fire one of your really good friends just because of other people from the outside ranting about his performance? Probably not, it would probably happen the same way for each of us. The problem is that perfection is expected in today's world. College football is a perfect example. I will agree with everyone on this board regarding Richt on one thing though, if he can't beat UF then something's gotta give the night of the game. Like I stated in a previous post, I agree with majority of what everyone says here, but try taking a step back and instead of venting about something in a football game, just be glad we won it.

You support Richt? Why?

I would fire my best friend tomorrow if his performance endangered the entire business. In fact I would not even hire my best friend because I know what an idiot he is.

Richt is an idiot. Early success was more likely despite him than because of him.

Feel sorry for your bf kent :) I support him because of what he's done as I said earlier. Everyone sees things differently. Even if we got a new coach we won't have instant success and who knows, he could be worse. Richt is 101-37, (i think) yea sure he has slipped the past 3-4 years but I believe he can still turn it around. You guys have to understand I don't support Richt to the point where I wouldn't fire the man, but I'm not going to expect perfection out of him. I said it earlier, if he doesn't beat UF then BYE, good ridence. I want to win, but Richt has the best qualities of any HC in college ball besides being cut throat and blowing teams out. Too many people sit on the fence regarding they would like their son to play for CMR because of those qualities, but then disagree because he doesn't bury his opponents. Pick a side and stay on it.

My BF is a great dude, but he is an idiot. He is weak with women and likes to bang the help. I could not recommend him to anything important. He makes bad decisions. That being said he is still my best friend.

I expect competence and accountability. I have seen little of either since 2005 - 2006. i would not want my son to play for Richt because Richt is soft. I see little to admire. That is the side I am on and I have been on it for years.

I know very well where you stand kent. You don't gotta say. Everyone isn't going to agree with each other though and that's just a fact of life. It goes without needing to be said that your comments are looked for when dawgs log onto the site. I'll work my way there, slowly but surely.
