We have the IDEAL opportunity to set up the rest of the season...get a solid win with 4-quarter performances from both the O and the D this weekend...get some valuable playing time for the 3/4 deep, and take advantage of the bye week to prepare for UF. If the team takes a mature approach to the next 14 days, i.e., don't overlook Vandy and stay focused during the bye week, we have a shot at the only blemishes on our record being from the first two weeks of the season.
The good news is, we're starting to see a team developing the talent/depth to compete consistently again in the SEC: running game is looking much improved over last year, defense is all but shutting down the run, and blair, drew, et al are pulling it together on special teams. If the players treat every practice snap as a chance to improve, we could be looking at a pretty impressive football team by the end of the year. GO DAWGS!!
Hey MH....as I said to Buc the other day......from your mouth to God's ears !!!!!!
