Yeah man...

The present... right now is the time to make Da’Rick Rogers regret his decision to abandon his
commitment to UGA in order to go wear baby food squash orange.

Yeah, didn't he change his mind about UGA because his HS QB buddy could go to UT if they came as a package deal etc? (or something like that). His buddy was going to Vandy until the package deal was set?

Well, where's his buddy now?......on the bench?

We should all have a special place on our shoulder pads reserved for anyone wearing
the color orange, but we need to do something really special for those that committed
to the RED and BLACK, but then change their minds.

We need to bluntly, and with extreme prejudice, demonstrate to them the folly of their decision.

Been rolling Friend around in my head since the question was asked.

Friend being a new hire, how much of the final say does Friend have when it comes to recruiting a player.

Is there enough trust from the higher ups to let Friend be the iron hand making the decision between player A and player B? Especially or if for example the offensive coordinator wants player A and offensive line coach wants player B.

How far does the offensive coordinator's power extend when it comes to personnel on his side of the ball?

Looking at the defensive side of the ball, appears to me that Grantham said I want this guy and it is a must. Folks remember all of the press about Jenkins, comparisons to others players that have come through the SEC.

Going to give Richt a plus on Grantham . . . . he got out of the way and now he is beaming about Grantham, his defensive line, the linebackers and the defensive backfield. Watch his pressers.

Why would Richt hire Friend if he was not going to use the same principles on the offensive side of the ball that were used on the defense. I don't believe, or I hope that hiring Friend was not a stop gap decision. DawgnLA, again you made this old fart think. I like it. :)

I dont think UGA wants someone that cant think for themselves, gotta have a friend to make a decision for him. What happens when his friend quits? Cant depend on that!!!!! GATA DAWGS

Well I can tell ya this wlayton. Nance is not on the depth chart. If I can recall his daddy was the one pitching a fit that Tennersee couldnt have Da'Prick unless they gave Nash a free ride too. Now his boy is no where to be found on the team roster. What a great parent/roll model huh?
