I think this will continue to be the case with college athletes. The better the competition gets, fewer kids are willing to put it on the line to WIN the position. When things get tough they bail. Almost like they expect it to be given to them. You recruited me now let me play. It hurts me to make a blanket statement like that, but It seems more the case each year. Just MHO.

averagedawg, for an old fart your memory is totally on station. Don't know if "Boo" returning will change the UGA football team. Sometimes that is not what matters, going to do a Richt thingy here, might change this young mans future.

He has the "stuff", just needs to listen to those that "want him to succeed". Those folks are . . . averagedawg, Buc and others that know football is the first step. After football, there are small percentages that move past first cut in the NFL. Get that beautiful "degree" that fits in your chosen space and you might be surprised where that leads "Boo". Welcome back, use your head, there are those around you that watch and listen to young men like you that can help in the future.

I thought he should have played last year, sometime it seems CMR does not know the talent on his team. He wants to red shirt such as the casr with Marino, could have gotten 3 years out of him instead of 2.

I really Do not like this, I mean WE, CK, now KM. looks like a bad trend. I can understand they are all young, But Maybe one reason we are where we are as a team right now. If you do not understand what a GREAT HONOR it is to wear the Red and Black then I dont really need YOU!!! I do not want someone who is not sure running the ball or blocking for me. We NEED Players like Shockley who knew what it is to be a team player and not a ME guy!!! too many MEEESSS and not enough TEAM!!!! This is another concern.

OldSouthDawg, I agree. I think the problem lies with the entire generation, not just UGA.

Speaking of WE, we checked his stats this morning. 23 carries for 80 something yards and one TD through 2 games. Not exactly IC type numbers.

I'm still very unhappy right now, but the next 4 games can turn me around. The bag may even come off my head.

I know he has to earn those carries. From everything I heard in the preseason, I was led
to believe he had earned a chance. He's gotten 1 all season.

I wasn't aware that he had any mystical ailments or other ridiculousity that had sent
him that far down the depth chart.
