I know he has to earn those carries. From everything I heard in the preseason, I was led
to believe he had earned a chance. He's gotten 1 all season.
I wasn't aware that he had any mystical ailments or other ridiculousity that had sent
him that far down the depth chart.
Wartdawg, I was banging the keys in KM's favor last year. Really thought he would be that downhill force we need sometimes. I am glad that he is back, know the young pup has talent. Hope that he steps up and gets away from the "stomach ache type of thingyees".
Appears that some of the young folks came to play, and it was apparently noticed by some of the "vets". Example of that is Washington . . . I beat the drum for him also and at one point it appeared that he would be replaced. CW said no thanks, take it, I ain't giving it. That is what I think that the defensive coaches have brought to the table. Had been missing for years. Love it!

Sure KM has "running ability" but maybe, just maybe, he hasn't learned the playbook well enough or the system.....where to be and/or what to do. If I'm CMR you can't afford taking chances on those players that don't understand the system.....even if they can run well. I feel pretty sure AM doesn't want him in there if he doesn't know the blocking scheme he "checked to" etc....he could get killed.
We seem to make enough mistakes.......don't need extra rookie mistakes that can cost you the game. He may mature a little later than most.....the coaches evidently are willing to give him the time.

I don't think any of us know if he knows the play book or not, and how long has he had that playbook
in his possession? If he didn't know the playbook, and wasn't ready etc etc.. would they have talked
about how great he was looking?
The thing about that argument is the coaching staff that is making those evaluations of him not
being ready enough to put into a game. That's the same coaching staff we are often saying doesn't
use our numerous tight ends enough, and makes bone headed moves on the offensive side of the ball
like they are trying to win a contest.
It's easy to speculate they don't always make the best personnel decisions as well.
God Bless and Go Dawgs
