I agree with Buc on the defense. Everyone concerns themselves with sacks, but hurries and hits are a pivotal role in any defense. It's the same with Atlanta fans and the D-Line there. After the Eagles game all I heard was how we never sacked Vick, but we made his day miserable with hits and hurries (plus a concussion). If you can hurry the QB then he will make a mistake.

Just like the BAMA/ARK game, BAMA didn't sack Tyler Wilson much but MAN, did they hit that dude all day long. He took some unbelievable shots.....he was hurting for several days. As you know BAMA shut that passing attack down.

To me it's the same as giving up a completion only to completely pummel the receiver. Get inside their heads and make them scared. When you're secondary will completely punish receivers they'll start to drop passes.

That's my mentality. Sometimes stats are telling of a trend, but sacks/hurries/hits gets the jobs done.
