Thought I'd start a new thread, and see what you all thought about players still being gased. I mean I watch other teams and they go 4 quarters with most starters and they don't seem to be as tired as UGA. Like I said in the spring, all this talk about C & S was all talk, some heard good things while others incliding my self that the players were goofing off as usual. This is why I do not buy into the hype every year about all the changes in player attitude and how hard they work. I am not saying that some are not doing what they are suppose to do, but from watching ML he never gets tired. I am not saying I am disappointed in IC, he carried 30 times and did well, but he was gased. I just do not like how the program has gotten so laid back, and even if we win out which I really doubt, I still think it is time for a change. We need new fire, new passion, teams used to fear playing UGA, we need that swager back.

Just thought I'd try to stir up some more comments and see what everyone has to say. A win is good, but with the exception of CC we won ugly and almost agains USC don't count for it is still a loss. No points of SEC championships for almost or moral victories. We have a tough game with MS, and I just hope that since they went into OT with a light weight we don't take them lightly.

Another thing I just noticed, the coaches poll does not even mention us in their top 40. I mean they have like northwestern, ill, and some other teams that don't play anyone. But who knows, maybe they see the same things that we do. That we still have a tough road to go and really haven't deserved any respect yet.

I don't think we are any more gassed than the next team-- I think we just notice it more since it is our team.

My problem with the game is the fact we have now been tricked 4 times in 4 games.

Play calling was good--though we should never go 5 playes in a row without calling IC's number.

Defense is good, but we STILL seem to have to blitz to get pressure.

You thought the play calling was good, Shannon? I was actually trying to decide if it was the worst called game I'd seen this year. How do you march all the way down the field on the ground, then pass in the red zone? How does our O stall almost every time we get in the RZ? How is it you have success on the ground, then almost totally abandon the running game, to the point the announcers are even pointing it out? I know why, but we've covered all that before.

I scream and do all of that, but I record and go back the next day and maybe a time or two after that during the week. God thank you for allowing me to be RETIRED.

BulldogShannon, do like I did today, last week and the week before, this group of defensive players are beginning to make a mark for themselves. Could be wrong, but that is something that we can go back to at the close of the season. This is not last years team . . . . on the defensive side of the ball. You know that.

What excites me? If that front 4 not 3 font 4 keeps staying in their lanes, our D backs and Linebackers are scary.

Ready for this . . . .oh spit!!! I would not want to be the quarterback for Mississippi State. I said that. These kids are bringing Erk's "stuff" back.

Sometimes the old farts have to step out, get off of the fence and not play it safe. We can beat Miss State.

The special teams need a lot of improvement. I'm sure every team we play this year has picked up on the fact we can't defend against the trick plays. So expect more of the same this Sat. against MS my friends.

I'm with everyone with the D getting better every week. They're looking good IMO.

As long as Bozo is our OC, expect more of the same unacceptable performance when our O is in the redzone. We've all said it more times than I can count. BOZO GOTTA GO!
